How do you become a ConsidraCare Caregiver?

We offer both live-out and live-in care opportunities

1. Apply Online

We start with a simple 10-minute online job application to get a view of your qualifications, experience and preferences. We look for caregivers with at least one year of professional experience and preferably a related degree or certification.

We provide orientation on hiring and before each placement so you are fully prepared to support your clients. The clients’ care plans and your daily tasks are always available to you through our app. In addition, you get access to our workshops and online university which has content to help you improve your caregiving skills and credentials.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. ConsidraCare only hires caregivers who are legally entitled to work in the cities where we operate. We do not sponsor visas or hire from overseas. Eligible applicants include certified Personal Support Workers (PSWs), nursing students working as PSWs, foreign or locally qualified healthcare workers serving as companions, and certified RNs or RPNs providing nursing care.

Start with a 10-minute online application, followed by an interview, background checks, and profile creation. Once cleared, you’ll receive training and be matched with clients whose needs align with your skills.

We look for at least one year of professional caregiving experience. A PSW certification, nursing studies, or related healthcare credentials are preferred. Specialized dementia or complex-care training is an asset.

Our nurse-led team reviews your skills, preferences, and experience to match you with families whose care needs fit your strengths, ensuring a safe and supportive placement.

Caregivers receive orientation before placements, ongoing workshops, and access to our online university. You’ll also be supported by our AI-powered caregiver app for daily tasks and updates.

Our caregiver app provides care plans, schedules, step-by-step task checklists, vitals, mood history, and client notes. It saves reporting time, ensures compliance, and helps you stay connected in real time.

We select a Caregiver of the Month based on client feedback and performance. Recognition includes acknowledgment in our newsletter and appreciation from our leadership team.

Caregivers are paid biweekly, with accurate clock-ins and documentation ensuring on-time payment. Overtime and holiday pay are also provided.
