Frequently asked questions.
Everything you need to know about ConsidraCare.
Is the audit really free? What's the catch?
Yes, it’s free. No email, no signup, no sales calls afterward unless you ask us to follow up. We built this diagnostic because we wanted to understand what nonprofit operators actually struggle with day to day. That’s genuinely useful information for us, and the result is a tool that’s useful for you. You’ll get your full benchmarked report at the end and nothing else happens unless you want it to.
Will my data be shared or sold?
No. Your answers stay in your browser the whole time. We don’t collect your organization’s name, your email, or anything else that could identify you. If you want to share your report with a colleague or a funder, you can. If you don’t, the data just sits with you. It’s not in any database, any marketing list, or any training set.
What nonprofit best practices are you comparing me against?
Our benchmarks come from a few different places. Donor compliance frameworks set a lot of the baseline expectations. Independent field audit standards and program evaluation literature fill in the rest. And we’ve pulled quite a bit from our own experience running real field programs in Canada and Pakistan, where we’ve had to actually live with these operational gaps. The benchmarks cover fraud controls, service verification, donor reporting, and how digital your workflows actually are.
We're a small nonprofit. Will this still be useful?
Yes, and honestly the diagnostic is often more useful for smaller nonprofits because the fixes are easier to act on. It adapts to your scale. A small community health program gets benchmarks and recommendations that fit early-stage operators. A multi-region affiliate network gets ones that fit their complexity. You won’t get a Fortune 500 checklist when you’re running a 6-person team.
What do I do with the results?
You get a 30/60/90 day roadmap. Each recommendation is grouped by what it protects: your funding, your reputation, or your operational efficiency. Most people share it with their leadership team or their board. Some share it with a funder to show operational maturity. And if a fix needs software, we’ll tell you honestly whether ConsidraCare fits or whether something else would serve you better. We try not to oversell.
Can our team take it separately and compare results?
Yes, and a lot of nonprofits do this. The program director, the ops lead, and the finance lead each take it independently. Then they compare. It’s a pretty reliable way to find blind spots, because people inside the same organization often have wildly different views of how things are actually running. Lining those up is useful before you make any big operational decisions.
What if we operate across multiple countries or regulatory environments?
The diagnostic adjusts based on your country and archetype. Benchmarks and compliance flags take into account jurisdictional differences in donor reporting, worker classification, and regulatory expectations. If you run programs in more than one country, you can take the diagnostic once per region. That tends to surface useful patterns, like which offices are handling things well and which ones are carrying more risk than leadership realizes
What makes ConsidraCare different from typical nonprofit software?
Most nonprofit software started life as a CRM or a case management tool and got adapted later. ConsidraCare started with the workflows that funders actually audit, so it was built around service verification, donor evidence packs, roster and payroll controls, and field productivity from the beginning. Typical software gives you a database to record things in. ConsidraCare gives you an operational system that holds the organization together. That’s a pretty different starting point.
